How to Apply — Master’s Program in Guidance and Counseling
Please prepare your documents in advance and follow the application steps below. All submitted files must be in PDF format.
 


Required Documents

Upload all documents as PDF files.
  1. A scanned passport biographical page or another equivalent proof of nationality (e.g., an ID card).
  2. A completed application form downloaded from the online application system with a recent photo.
  3. A scanned graduation certificate and academic transcript.
  4. Two scanned recommendation letters: (1) from a former teacher/lecturer/employer, and (2) from the Indonesian Embassy in the applicant’s country of residence.
  5. A study plan or motivation letter written in English or Indonesian.
  6. A scanned English proficiency certificate (TOEFL ITP/TOEFL iBT/IELTS/TOEIC).
Important: All documents should be submitted as PDF files. Incomplete submissions will not be processed.


Eligibility Max 40 years old

  • Prospective students must be up to 40 years old.
  • All required documents must be submitted in English or Indonesian.
  • Applicants who do not fulfill the required documents will not be considered.

Selection Process

The committee may request an online interview if needed.
  1. Fill in the application form and submit all required documents via pmb.uny.ac.id.
  2. Your documents will be verified by the university committee.
  3. An online interview via Skype or Zoom Meeting may be conducted when required.
