Facilities
The Master’s Program in Guidance and Counseling is supported by adequate learning facilities, laboratories, health and sports services, as well as counseling-related resources within the university environment.


Facilities Overview

Facilities supporting the Master’s Program in Guidance and Counseling are considered sufficient for learning, research, and community engagement. These include well-equipped classrooms, guidance and counseling laboratory facilities, access to health services, and sports facilities. The program is also supported by a curriculum and course lesson plans (RPS) that are updated periodically. Graduate user satisfaction has also been reported as positive. More detailed information is available in the descriptions of criteria three to nine.

Health Service Program

UNY provides health services through the Technical Implementation Unit for Health Services (UPT-LK UNY). This unit is responsible for delivering health services for students, lecturers, and educational staff within UNY. In addition to medical treatment, the unit also provides health consultation services. Further information may be accessed via the official UNY page.

  • Service days: Monday–Friday (working days).
  • Service hours: 07:30–16:00.
  • First-aid boxes are available in classroom areas to support minor/over-the-counter medication needs.
  • At the Faculty of Sport Sciences (FIK UNY), a Fitness Clinic is available for the academic community, supported by a jogging track and outdoor fitness facilities.

Access and Learning Support

Facilities are continuously maintained and improved to support learning outcomes and strengthen the academic environment. The use of classrooms and laboratories is managed through a semester-based scheduling system and monitored through an inventory and room-use list.

Facility management covers planning, utilization, maintenance, evaluation, improvement, and replacement of equipment when needed.
